Wine Cellaring:
Premium Cellars offers a variety of storage lockers. With over 20 sizes and shapes of lockers, we will assist you in locating a locker that fits the specific requirements of your collection.
Question: How many "cases" of wine or beer will my xx cubic foot locker hold?
Answer: Because of the wide variety of wine and beer case sizes and bottle shapes, we cannot accurately state how many "cases" or number of bottles an individual locker will hold.
That said: Our "10 cubic foot" lockers are designed to easily hold 10 cases of standard Bordeaux / shouldered bottles, with room to squeeze a few more bottles or magnums in as a tight fit!
We do offer over 20 shapes and sizes of lockers in an attempt to accomodate the needs of the most varied collectors.
On average a case of wine takes up about one cubic foot. (A standard "Bordeaux" case occupies approximately .85 cu. ft., where a case of "Riesling" bottles occupies about .93 cu. ft.)
